Popular American streamer Kai Cenat has shared that he feels a deep connection with Nigeria, calling it the first place where he has felt “100 percent love.” He made this known during a visit to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House in Marina this week. Kai, who first came to Nigeria in 2024, returned to follow up on the big projects he started, including his plan to build a school for children in the Makoko community.
During the meeting, Kai told the governor, “Nigeria is the first country I felt like I had 100 percent love,” adding that the welcome he receives every time he lands is “crazy.” He promised to tell everyone back in America that Nigeria is a must-visit destination.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also used the opportunity to talk about how Lagos is working to support young people and tourism. He mentioned that the Eyo Festival held last December was a massive success, with over 10,000 people participating. To show hospitality, the governor even gave Kai five special Eyo figurines as a gift to remember his trip.
