Afrobeats star Wizkid has blasts 2Baba following the veteran singer’s recent comments regarding the hierarchy of Nigeria’s “Big 3” (Wizkid, Davido, and Burna Boy). During an interview on the Mic On Podcast with Seun Okinbaloye, 2Baba was asked to give his verdict on who among the trio currently leads the industry globally.
The legendary singer stated that while he admires all three and has favorite songs from each, he believes Burna Boy is “at the top of the chain not just in Nigeria or Africa, but globally” at the moment. He clarified that his assessment was based on global influence and his understanding of the music world rather than personal success or financial metrics.

In a series of pointed messages, he referred to the “African Queen” crooner as an “old man” and suggested that he should focus on his personal life before commenting on the music industry.
The “Essence” singer wrote, “At least make peace with your family first before having opinions about music. Old man.” He further added a warning to his peers and the industry at large, stating, “I’m never letting it slack in 2026.”
