Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, and his wife, Natasha Osawaru, have officially dedicated their newborn son in a church ceremony held over the past weekend. Viral footage from the event shows the couple dancing joyfully toward the altar while carrying their baby, surrounded by a small group of family members and friends who joined in the celebration with clapping and cheers.
The ceremony took place approximately three months after the couple welcomed their son in November 2025. This birth followed their traditional wedding, which was held on July 25, 2025, at a private location in Abuja. During the church service, 2Baba appeared calm and reflective in a simple, elegant outfit, occasionally smiling as he stood beside Natasha. At a notable moment in the service, Natasha handed their son to the officiating priest, who offered prayers for the child’s future as the congregation looked on.
This celebration comes after a period of significant transition in 2Baba’s personal life. The singer confirmed his separation and subsequent divorce from his former wife, Annie Idibia, in January 2025, after nearly 12 years of marriage. Shortly after the split, he went public with his relationship with Natasha, proposing on Valentine’s Eve.
Throughout the recent dedication, 2Baba appeared entirely composed and focused on his new family. In recent interviews, he has spoken candidly about his desire to be a more present father, stating, “I haven’t been the best daddy because, as you know, I’ve missed a whole lot of time… but going forward, I will try to do better.”
