The fight between Nollywood actress Doris Ogala and Pastor Chris Okafor has taken a more aggressive turn as the actress vowed to show the clergyman “the stuff that Jezebels are made of.” Her reaction follows a recent sermon where the founder of Grace Nation International Ministry (also known as Liberation City) recanted his earlier apology, labeling her a “Jezebel” and denying they had ever met face-to-face.
In a fiery Instagram post on Friday, March 6, 2026, Ogala dismissed his apology withdrawal as a product of pride and promised a relentless response. “Na me u Call jezzibel Abi. U don’t know who jazibel be. Because I was pitying u. I will show you what jazibel Dey do,” she wrote, revealing her she held fire out of “pity” for his reputation but that has ended.
In an accompanying video, the actress made it clear that a standard apology in a church setting would no longer suffice to settle their long-standing dispute over their alleged eight-year relationship. She insisted that the pastor’s previous gesture of kneeling was insufficient and predicted a much more humiliating penance for him in the future. “Chris, maybe you think this thing is a joke… I said you will crawl and apologize to me, you think I’m joking. That one you kneel down to do at your church is not enough. I said you will crawl, you will lay down and crawl on the floor and beg me,” she stated. Ogala also pointed out an apparent contradiction in the pastor’s defense, claiming that he had previously admitted to their dating history in legal documents, despite his recent public denials of ever knowing her.
The actress further criticized the pastor’s character, suggesting that his “unapologetic” stance after initially seeking forgiveness exposes a lack of integrity to his congregation. She accused him of deliberately pushing the video of his retracted apology to go viral through his associates, despite the sensitive nature of the allegations involving their years-long sexual relationship. “I’m glad that God is actually exposing you. I want you guys to see the pastor who preach in the church. A pastor who came out and apologized. Pride got into him again and he came back to say he’s not sorry,” she claimed, adding that she has reached a point where “nothing makes sense” to her anymore, implying she has little left to lose in this public confrontation.
