“Christians Should Leave Jos” – Zuby Michael Sparks Outrage After Plateau Terror Attack

by admin

The ongoing security issue in Plateau State took a heated turn on social media after Nollywood actor Zuby Michael’s appeal to action went viral. In response to the horrific terrorist attack in Jos’s Angwan Rukuba neighborhood on Sunday, March 29, 2026, which is said to have claimed scores of lives, the actor posted a direct warning to the locals on his Instagram page on Tuesday.

In his words, “Christians should leave Jos,” in a post that instantly sparked alot of controversy. Although he was confident that “nemesis would eventually catch up with the terrorists,” both fans and locals have strongly objected to his suggestion that a particular religious minority should leave the city.

Given that Plateau is a Christian majority state where many people have built their entire livelihood, many reponses contended that running away is not a practical choice.

Reacting, “Where do they go after leaving their ancestral land? Would you suggest that we flee to the north or west if it were occurring in our Igbo territory?” a fan named Jerryluck asked, “Christian communities should just help them fight back.” Others, such as Recheal Joseph, said “We will never leave our God-given land for anyone.” In the name of Jesus, we will defeat whatever the adversaries have in store.”
