Chelsea has been very busy on the final day of the transfer window, as they officially closed deals for three of their players on Monday. The club confirmed the moves for Joel Philbert, David Fofana, and Aaron Anselmino on their website.

First, the club sold Joel Philbert permanently to their London rivals, Tottenham Hotspur. Philbert had been with Chelsea since he was 14 years old and worked his way up through their academy.

Next is David Fofana, the Ivory Coast striker, who is heading to France to join Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season. Fofana recently returned from playing in Turkey, and Chelsea says they will be backing him as he starts this new chapter in the French league.

Lastly, Aaron Anselmino is also moving to Strasbourg on loan for the rest of the season. The young defender, who joined Chelsea from Boca Juniors in Argentina, spent the first part of this season in Germany with Borussia Dortmund. After playing 10 games there, Chelsea called him back and decided to send him to France instead.
