Nigerian celebrity businessman Linus Williams Ifejirika, popularly known as Blord, has reportedly been moved from a regular criminal cell due to health concerns. This development comes just two weeks after the Federal High Court in Abuja remanded him to Kuje prison for 26 days.
Remember that he is facing several charges, including impersonation of the social media personality VeryDarkMan and forgery.
Giving an update on Instagram, VeryDarkMan revealed that Blord has been unwell since April 6, 2026. He shared a WhatsApp message claiming that Blord was transferred from “Egypt 2”, the section of Kuje prison known for housing armed robbers and other serious criminals, to a segregation cell because of his illness.
VeryDarkMan also took a jab at human rights activist and former presidential candidate Omoyele Sowore, who had criticized the quick remand of Blord and accused VeryDarkMan and his lawyer of oppression. On his Instagram story, VeryDarkMan wrote, “Sowore and his avengers don’t have power to bring Blord out and discontinue the case like he claimed. We are willing to temper mercy.”
This situation has stirred conversation, with many watching closely how the legal battle and prison conditions will unfold for Blord.
