Popular TikTok streamer Peller, has started a 20-state nationwide tour, drawing large crowds of fans in several cities. The young streamer, who rose to fame through funny livestreams and viral TikTok videos, began the tour in Benin City and Port Harcourt, where hundreds of fans gathered to welcome him as he moved through the cities. The strong turnout showed the growing power of content creators in Nigeria’s entertainment, especially among young people who follow their content online.
His reception in Benin City was energetic as the content creator interacted freely with fans and engaged with aspects of the city’s culture during his visit. Reports from the tour indicated that the TikTok star also received a warm welcome from the traditional institution in the Edo State capital, a moment that further boosted excitement around the event. From there, the tour moved to Port Harcourt in Rivers State, where the response from residents was equally intense. Fans reportedly thronged the streets to catch a glimpse of the influencer, with many describing the atmosphere as similar to the type of reception often given to top Nigerian music stars.
As the tour later moved to Abuja, the nation’s capital, it appeared slightly different compared to the lively scenes in southern cities. Abuja’s more structured and business environment meant that the excitement in some high-end districts was not as intense as what was seen in Benin and Port Harcourt. However, Peller quickly adapted to the environment by taking his content to key political areas in the city.
In a move that surprised many of his followers, the influencer streamed live from inside the House of Representatives of Nigeria, where he interacted casually with House of Rep. members including the Honorable Kelechi Nwogu. During the interaction, the TikTok star joked about possibly meeting the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, a moment that drew reactions online.
Despite the calmer atmosphere in some areas of Abuja, Peller’s popularity remained obvious in the city’s busy commercial districts. At Banex Plaza, one of the capital’s most active shopping hubs, a crowd reportedly gathered after spotting the influencer as he moved through the area. In another moment captured during the tour, a woman was said to have excitedly stretched out of her moving car to high-five the TikTok star after recognising him on the road.
The tour also included a moment that drew praise from many viewers after the he reportedly gave ₦500,000 to a roadside seller in Abuja. The kindness quickly circulated online and resonated with many young Nigerians who see Peller as someone who still connects with people at the grassroots level despite his growing fame. Peller himself has previously revealed that he can make as much as ₦15 million to ₦20 million weekly from TikTok live sessions when he is active on the platform.
